Job Summary

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Project Manager, Implementation & Transformation will play a critical role in supporting the Sr. Transformation Manager and Branch Expansion Manager in driving operational efficiency, service growth, and the successful expansion of new branch locations. This role is responsible for project execution, stakeholder coordination, and ensuring the seamless implementation of strategic initiatives within the Deutz Power Center (DPC) Network.

The ideal candidate is an organized, detail-oriented professional with experience in operations, transformation projects, and facility expansion. They will act as a key liaison between cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment on goals, timelines, and execution strategies.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Project Manager, Implementation & Transformation will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties:

 

Implementation & Transformation Support

  • Assist the Sr. Transformation Manager in executing growth and service transformation initiatives.
  • Help define and optimize operating models to improve organizational efficiency and customer service delivery.
  • Support change management efforts by coordinating communication and training for frontline teams.
  • Analyze performance metrics and identify areas for operational improvement.
  • Drive data-driven decision-making and track progress toward KPIs related to revenue, service quality, and cost efficiency.

Branch Expansion Coordination

  • Support the Branch Expansion Manager in new branch openings, relocations, and expansions.
  • Coordinate facility setup, contractor engagement, and operational readiness for new locations.
  • Ensure that new branches adhere to company processes, performance standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Provide project oversight on budgeting, timeline tracking, and risk mitigation for expansion projects.
  • Act as a bridge between corporate leadership and field operations to resolve bottlenecks and ensure smooth rollouts.

Project Specialist Support

  • Provide mentorship, guidance, and project coordination to the Project Specialist – Operations & Transformation.
  • Collaborate with the Project Specialist to ensure alignment of service transformation efforts with broader organizational goals.
  • Support the Project Specialist in tracking service performance metrics, identifying efficiency gaps, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assist in the development and execution of training and coaching programs for frontline teams and managers.
  • Work together to facilitate cross-functional communication, ensuring that transformation initiatives are effectively integrated into service operations.
  • Help remove roadblocks for the Project Specialist in coordinating operational enhancements, change adoption, and service performance improvements.

Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Engage with HR, IT, Legal, and Field Leadership to align on project timelines and execution plans.
  • Facilitate regular project updates and ensure that key stakeholders remain informed and engaged.
  • Work closely with service teams, sales teams, and operational leaders to integrate transformation initiatives at all levels of the organization.

Process & Compliance Management

  • Assist in developing and enforcing standard operating procedures (SOPs) for branch operations.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory, health, and safety guidelines in all expansion efforts.
  • Support efforts to maintain and improve customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

Supervisory Responsibilities:  Will have direct reports

 

Travel Demands: Anticipated domestic and international travel is approximately 25-50% depending on business needs.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field.

3-5 years of project management experience in operations, transformation, or business expansion.

Proficiency in MS Office, experience with project management tools and data analytics tools.

Lean Six Sigma or PMP certification.

Experience working in a matrix organization, influencing change across multiple departments.

Knowledge of construction project management, budgeting, and contractor coordination.

Familiarity with off-highway equipment, service center operations, or manufacturing environments

ADDITIONAL REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Strong project coordination skills, with experience managing cross-functional teams.
  • Background in business development, process improvement, or operational efficiency projects.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority.

 

LANGUAGE ABILITY:

Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Write routine reports and correspondence. Speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.

MATHEMATICAL ABILITY:

Add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Compute rate, ratio and percent, and draw and interpret bar graphs.

REASONING ABILITY:

Apply logical thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems. Deal with nonverbal symbolism (e.g., formulas and equations) in difficult phases. Deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.

  • Manufacturing assembly and warehouse environment.  Subject to noise, dust, diesel fuel, oil, and extreme hot/cold temperatures.   No A/C.
