Your tasks:

  • Accounting: support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of accounts according to group guidelines across the region
  • Set financial directions: for APAC region in consultation with HQ’s controlling team in meeting the corporate objectives
  • Budget & Forecasts: Responsible to support annual budget & periodic Forecast process and continuously monitor and mitigate deviations
  • Working capital management: regional working capital management to attain optimum level
  • Reporting: to be prepared according to group guidelines and ad hoc reporting on business-critical issues in the region
  • Tax Management & Foreign Exchange topics: entities and potential new entities need to be aligned with taxation & accounting rules and potential risk exposure needs to be mitigated
  • Structural compliance: support evaluation of sub-regional setup on finance processes and define regional standards in line with group guidelines
  • Transfer pricing: evaluation and recommendation of APAC transfer pricing matters for relevant levels across entities in APAC
  • Investments & business cases: project appraisal for new business opportunities. New business case calculations & financial Due Diligence
  • Center of service delivery: Experience in the conception & implementation of operational Finance service organizations to provide efficient, customer-centric and proficient admin services is advantageous to local entities
  • Risk management: support entities across the region in thorough risk management according to group guidelines. Understand and mitigate key risk elements of all business units.
  • Advisory: support sub-regional entities and their respective Finance Heads by providing guidance on global group finance guidelines & requirements as well as offer expertise on local needs
     

Your skillset:

  • Technical competence in finance topics (qualified accountant and CPA with 7+ years of relevant experience)
  • Industry knowledge no absolute must
  • Basic process design expertise & processual thinking
  • Strategic thinking
  • Leadership competency – i.e. providing guidance to sub-regional heads and finance heads, liaising with group finance & other functions, leading functional teams within the region through dotted lines
  • Stakeholder Management in multi-cultural environment
  • Project management – proven track record to drive complex projects systematically in a cross-regional VUCA environment
  • Networking/team player – build internal network within and outside of the region as well as utilizing external network
  • Promote internal collaboration among sub-regions and headquarter
  • Entrepreneurial & objective-driven – proactively promote internal optimization opportunities
