Job Summary
The Production Line Lead will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of our production lines. The role will support staff in all areas of the Value-Add engine assembly process. The Production Line Lead will actively focus to improve our assembly lines and collaborate with the staff to cultivate a culture of problem solving and TEAM. The ideal candidate should have effective leadership and attention to detail skills.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Production Lead will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties:

Lead and oversee the assembly process of Value-Add engines.

Provide daily objectives and priorities to staff.

Monitor the performance of production staff and line daily.

Track and report KPI’s of production line.
-
Facilitate the developmental activities, mentor and coach our operational staff and team members in a dynamic setting.

Coordinate and assist in execution of countermeasures by using the PDCA cycle at each assembly area.

Active agent in the promotion and application of DCA Production System (DPS Standards) and LEAN methodology.

Analyze daily Production unit KPI’s and facilitate problem solving with teams.

Provide technical support to staff.

Perform and participate in safety and improvement audits daily.

Coordinate and implement solutions to nonconformities pertaining to customer failures, processes, and equipment.

Coordinate and organize the cross-training activities
-
Facilitate the onboarding of new employees to be operational ready.

Ensure that staff members are adhering to company policies and procedures.

Maintain a safe and well-organized work environment by applying 5S principles.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Individual Contributor
Travel Demands: Anticipated domestic and international travel is approximately 0 -10% depending on business needs.

LANGUAGE ABILITY:
Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Write routine reports and correspondence. Speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
MATHEMATICAL ABILITY:
Add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Compute rate, ratio and percent, and draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY:
Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Manufacturing assembly and warehouse environment. Subject to noise, dust, diesel fuel, oil, and extreme hot/cold temperatures. No A/C.
