POSITION SUMMARY:
The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for all areas of warehouse operations including implementation of processes, personnel management, inventory management, security, safety, housekeeping, and administrative processes that pertain to all warehouse activities, and all other functions designed to meet performance standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties:
· Oversee multiple warehouse facilities, manage Warehouse Supervisors, and coordinate daily work assignments. Identify and coordinate training activities, promotions, wage increases and termination. Recommend overtime as needed to meet customer demands.
· Supervise and perform activities of employees engaged in loading/unloading, selecting, packing, shipping, receiving, and transporting of merchandise.
· Supervise incoming and outgoing shipment activity; ensure efficient, accurate and timely customer service to ensure service goals are attained.
· Perform any and all physical requirements necessary to lift and move inventory around the warehouse.
· Operate and maneuver warehouse equipment and any material(s) contained in the manner consistent with the intended purpose of the equipment and the manufacturers’ instructions.
· Maintain security of merchandise and equipment and ensure safe working conditions.
· Ensure that all warehouse procedures are followed and coordinate warehouse huddles and/or regular meetings with the warehouse employees.
· Required to attend all safety meetings.
· Other Duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities: 1-4 warehouse supervisors
Travel Demands: Anticipated domestic and international travel is approximately 10% depending on business needs.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Required Preferred Description
X High School diploma or equivalent
X 3-5 years of warehouse management experience
X SAP Experience
X Customer Service focused
X Strong leadership and organizational skills
ADDITIONAL REQUIRED SKILLS:
· Ability to make routine decisions on a daily basis.
· Ability to perform the physical requirements necessary to receive, pick, pack, ship, and move material throughout the warehouse, including, but not limited to, frequent standing, walking, bending, twisting, stooping, reaching, climbing ladders, cutting wire, and lifting materials weighing up to 70 lbs.
· Ability to operate and maneuver warehouse equipment, including, but not limited to, pallet jacks, forklifts, and pushcarts, in the manner necessary to move materials within the warehouse.
· Computer skills including proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite and email systems.
· Knowledge of warehouse operations and procedures.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills.
· Ability to multitask and perform all physical requirements.
LANGUAGE ABILITY:
Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Write routine reports and correspondence. Speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
MATHEMATICAL ABILITY:
Add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Compute rate, ratio and percent, and draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY:
Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

· Continuous exposure to typical engine manufacturing environments. No A/C.
· Exposure to running engines in a closed environment with appropriate protective gear.
