POSITION SUMMARY: 

The Warehouse Associate will be involved with all warehouse operations related to picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and other warehouse-related activities. The ideal candidate must be dedicated to maintaining a high-quality work environment and being a team player. The Warehouse Associate must be hard-working, organized, and detail oriented.  

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 

The  ​Warehouse Associate​ will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties: 

  • Daily housekeeping of warehouse.  

  • Pick and pack parts for customer orders.  

  • Receive and stock freight in hard locations.  

  • Assemble and stock modification kits.  

  • Process receiving documents; prepare Bill of Lading / Airway Billing.  

  • Loading and unloading of LTL and small package carrier trucks.  

  • Initiates good customer services by giving prompt, efficient and friendly service to internal and external customers.  

  • Abides by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions.  

  • Abides by all safety rules and uses all appropriate safety equipment.  

  • Cleaning and/or dusting shelving units and workstations. Sweeping floors in an open area and under racks.  

  • Performs other duties as assigned.  

 

Supervisory Responsibilities:  N/A  

 

Travel Demands: Anticipated domestic and international travel is approximately 0-10% depending on business needs.

LANGUAGE ABILITY: 

​​Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Write simple correspondence. Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees.​ 


MATHEMATICAL ABILITY: 

​​Add and subtract two digit numbers and multiply/divide with 10's and 100's. Perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume and distance.​ 


REASONING ABILITY: 

​​Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.​
