Job Summary

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Technical Trainer will be responsible for the development, maintenance, and implementation of technical training for DCA. The position will work as part of a team to create, conduct, and track technical training activities in the Americas. The position is also responsible for providing technical input while working with warranty and service staff.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Technical Trainer will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties:

 

  • Conducting local and remote technical training on industrial diesel and electric power systems.
  • Working as part of a team to develop online and instructor led curriculum that meets defined objectives.
  • Auditing and evaluating training curriculum and performance to ensure that objectives are met.
  • Continuous learning to achieve exceptional knowledge of the latest DEUTZ products and technologies.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

 

Supervisory Responsibilities:  Individual Contributor

 

Travel Demands: Anticipated domestic and international travel is approximately 30% depending on business needs.

LANGUAGE ABILITY:

Read, analyze and interpret scientific and technical journals, financial reports and legal documents. Respond to inquiries or complaints from customers, agencies or members of the business community. Write speeches and articles for publication.

MATHEMATICAL ABILITY:

Work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.

REASONING ABILITY:

Define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
