Job Summary

POSITION SUMMARY: 

The Senior Accountant will be responsible Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information. Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies.  Oversees the intercompany reconciliation with parent company 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties: 

• Ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions. 

• Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information. 

• Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies. 

• Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts, preparing a trial balance, and reconciling entries. 

• Prepare financial audit request at interim, year-end, and during mid-year review. 

• Make recommendations based on analysis and status of reserves, assets and expenditures 

• Document and monitor internal controls 

• Coordinate more complex accounting projects and initiatives with other members of the accounting and finance team or with other departments 

• Perform variance analyses and prepare account reconciliations 

• Cross train in Accountant and Accounting Manager duties 

• Performs other as assigned.

Travel Demands: Anticipated domestic and international travel is approximately 0-10% depending on business needs.
