Job Summary
Position Summary
The Regional Sales Manager will lead and grow our sales efforts across a region in United States. The Regional Sales Manager will have a strong background in selling services, preferably within the industrial, construction or material handling equipment industry, and a proven track record of managing sales teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth through service sales, training and coaching sales representatives, and implementing our structured sales process.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage, mentor, and develop a regional sales team, with potential for growth as the organization scales.
- Drive sales growth through fleet service work by coaching reps on identifying and pursuing service-based opportunities.
- Conduct field ride-alongs and regular coaching sessions to ensure adherence to the company's sales process and best practices.
- Monitor and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to track individual and team performance.
- Steer the sales team using CRM software based information
- Develop and deliver training programs to elevate the sales team’s skills and service-selling capabilities.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure alignment between sales, service delivery, and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate forecasts and reports on territory performance.
- Travel within their region and perform ride along sales visits and Power Center visits.

- Strong sales acumen, negotiation skills, and the ability to close deals.
- Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through under tight timelines and pressured situations.

- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a sales team.
- Strong understanding of sales processes, pipeline management, and service-based selling strategies.
- Proven ability to analyze performance metrics and translate data into actionable plans
- Proficiency in MS Office products

Travel Requirements
- Anticipate domestic travel of 50%.
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma.
- 5 years of sales experience, preferably in a service-oriented role within the equipment industry.
- 3 years of experience managing a team with demonstrated success in coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
Preferred Requirements
- Background in equipment-related industries (construction, industrial, heavy machinery, fleet services, etc.).
- Experience in fleet service sales and understanding of customer pain points related to equipment maintenance and service.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
