Job Summary

At DEUTZ, we take great pride in our ability to provide cutting-edge products that cater to the unique needs of our valued customers. The Product Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the DEUTZ engine product, Including executing a product vision and product strategy. The role will also be responsible for aligning the technical needs of the product by working closely with the engineering and project management. To further enhance our DEUTZ product, we are currently seeking an accomplished product manager to spearhead the technical side of our DEUTZ product strategy. The ideal candidate should possess a discerning eye for identifying gaps in the market and possess the creativity to bridge them with innovative solutions. Additionally, we require a seasoned product manager who can effectively strategize the entire product lifecycle, from inception to launch. Above all, we are in search of a confident leader who can inspire cross-functional teams to develop our DEUTZ product that not only enhances customer satisfaction but also bolsters our market presence.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

The Product Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties:

 

  • Oversee the implementation of all processes within the DEUTZ engine product lifecycle, encompassing activities such as product and market research, competitor analysis, planning, positioning, requirements and roadmap development, and product launch.
  • Transform product strategy into comprehensive requirements for both prototyping and final development, working closely with engineering teams.
  • Prepare product strategy documents that outline business cases, high-level use cases, technical requirements, revenue projections, and return on investment.
  • Utilize market data analysis to formulate effective sales strategies and establish clear product objectives for impactful marketing communications.
  • Foster close collaboration with engineering, production, marketing, and sales teams throughout the product development, quality assurance, and release processes, ensuring optimal resource allocation for organizational success.
  • Craft compelling product positioning and messaging that sets DEUTZ apart in key market segments.
  • Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates DEUTZ across primary market segments.

 

Supervisory Responsibilities:  Individual Contributor

 

Travel Demands: Anticipated domestic and international travel is approximately 10% depending on business needs.
