Job Summary
Job Title: Material Handler
Reports To: TBD

Position Summary
The Material Handler will perform duties related to component and finished goods movements within the plant. Physically handle components (engine parts), and operate various material handling equipment (lifts, hoists)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The Material Handler will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties:

Put up stock according to prescribed procedures.

Pull stock for production orders per prescribed procedures.

Organize stock per prescribed procedures.

Perform data entry functions related to stock put-up, pull, and inventory movement.

Utilize Forklift equipment when necessary.

Move finished goods from the end of the assembly to designated areas.

Other duties as assigned.

Anticipated domestic and international travel is approximately 0-10% depending on business needs.
Minimum Requirements

Experience in a warehouse environment

HS education
-
Skilled with using an inventory management system

Experience with operating material handling equipment

Able to learn and become skillful with revevant SAP system transactions

Demonstrate attention to detail and willingness to learn

Able to learn and become skillful with on-site material handling equipment

Continuous exposure to typical engine manufacturing environments. No A/C.

All positions require using Personal Protective Equipment, including but not limited to steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, ear protection, and face masks.
