Job Summary
Supplier Evaluation
o Audit and feasibility ranking of external suppliers worldwide.
o Prepare the information for the decision-making process in the sourcing board
Supplier qualification and improvement
o Manage new supplier implementation and supplier transfer with respect to quality for DEUTZ Corporation and DEUTZ AG
o Negotiate and finalize the quality agreement
o Create Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)
o Action definition and follow-up.
o Manage and handle the necessities of and around the Production Paft
o Approval Process (PPAP)
o KPI management for supplier related Quality metrics
Internal project responsibility
o Participate and represent the supplier quality in specific project team meetings
o Manage the PPAP overview per project and coordinating between the suppliers and the related DEUTZ departments the achieving of the PPAP approval
Cross Functional Responsibilities
o Support the teamwork in the cross-functional team responsibilities to reduce the overall failure rate and improve failure prevention.
o Lead failure-solving process for supplier-caused defects.
o Global alignment with DEUTZ AG Supplier Quality team.
Travel
o Travel in North America, including Mexico, up to approximately twenty-five percent (25%) depending on business needs.

Requirements:
· U.S. Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering;
· 60 months of work experience in Quality Assurance, e.g. as Supplier Quality Engineer; and
· At least, 12 months of experience with (i) leading project feasibility discussions from a financial and quality standpoint; (ii) developing business cases for projects relating to external suppliers; (iii) Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP); (iv) Production Part Approval Process (PPAP); and (v) IATF 16949:2016.
8:00am – 5:00pm, 40 hours per week.
