Job Summary
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Manager Customer Quality will be responsible for management, coordination and the execution of the Customer Quality and Engineering Quality Assurance functions in interaction with the Customer Quality (DAG), the Quality in R&D (DAG) and related Customer Support Departments of DCA and DAG.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Manager Customer Quality will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties:

Manage the interface between the Deutz customers in Americas and DCA with strong relation and alignment to and with the customer support departments (DCA and DAG).

Drive the improvements for lean, state of the industry defect identification, correction and prevention process.

Drive the improvements for lean, state of the industry engineering quality responsibilities
within the DCA PEP landscape.

Represent DCA Customer QA and Engineering QA within the Deutz meeting environment.

Develop a strong customer and team relationship.
-
Strengthen and improve the synergies of the related processes between DCA and DAG towards a durable and reliable knowledge exchange process.

Develop the integration of these processes visible within the global DEUTZ process landscape.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Will have direct reports.
Travel Demands: Anticipated domestic and international travel is approximately 10 -15% depending on business needs.

Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills

Good Diesel engine and EAT knowledge.
LANGUAGE ABILITY:
Read, analyze and interpret business, professional, technical or governmental documents. Write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, customers and the public.
MATHEMATICAL ABILITY:
Work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY:
Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Manufacturing assembly and warehouse environment. Subject to noise, dust, diesel fuel, oil, and extreme hot/cold temperatures. No A/C.
