Job Summary
Job Title: Disassembly Technician
Reports To: Operations Supervisor

Position Summary
The Disassembly Technician will contribute to DEUTZ’s daily operations by keeping our engines clean and performing better than ever! The Disassembly Technician is responsible for the disassembly and cleaning of engines. Disassembly Technician will liaise with managers and department employees. The ideal candidate must be knowledgeable with engine parts and hand power tools with some mechanical experience and knowledge
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The Disassembly Technician will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties:

Disassembly of Diesel engines

Cleaning of engine components
-
Maintains a clean and organized work/storage area.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Travel Requirements

Anticipated domestic and international travel is approximately 0-10% depending on business needs.
Minimum Requirements
-
HS education or equivalent
-
General knowledge of engine pats
-
Knowledge of hand and power tools
-
Knowledge of lifting equipment and/or devices
-
Knowledge of wash and blast cabinets a plus
Preferred Requirements
-
Ability to operate powered pass-through wash system
Physical Requirements:
-
Manufacturing assembly and warehouse environment. Subject to noise, dust, diesel fuel, oil, and extreme hot/cold temperatures. No A/C.

If the employee is located in the office area, the noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
