- Own and operate the entire employee lifecycle process in compliance with local labor law, across all relevant HR topics such as Recruiting (job postings, applicant tracking, hiring interviews, coordination of hiring decisions, contract creation, contract terms, compensation, onboarding), Performance Management (e.g. Performance review tracking), Development, Learning, Personnel Administration (e.g. employee records, letters), Offboarding (e.g. reference letter), Time tracking & Payroll, etc.
- Act as the first point of contact for employees, managers, works councils/unions, and authorities
- Propose and execute individual HR measures and solutions
- Implement of HR processes, systems, policies and projects locally
- Proactively identify improvement areas and propose solutions
- Drive local talent and performance development initiatives
- Ensure local labor law compliance and payroll accuracy
- Build and operate local health, reintegration, and wellbeing programs
- Coordinate vocational training, apprenticeships, and student programs
- Safeguard HR data quality and deliver local KPI reporting
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in HR, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in operational HR, ideally in an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Strong expertise in Dutch labor law, compliance, and employee relations (incl. unions/works councils)
- Independent, hands-on, and proactive mindset with strong problem-solving skills
- Proven experience as first-line HR contact for employees, managers, and authorities
- Ability to translate global HR standards into effective, compliant local practices
- Strong focus on HR data quality, reporting, and KPI tracking
- Confident with HR IT systems (e.g. SAP SuccessFactors) and MS Office
- Fluent in Dutch and English; German is a plus
- Experience in a multinational environment is an advantage
Working conditions:
- Predominantly office based with hybrid options by individual agreement
- Occasional travel (e.g., to Cologne, Germany)
- Full time role (40 hours/week)
